In contrast to the other tools, Inspiration is a software program that is available for both Mac and PC platforms. Inspiration is a web mapping tool that enables "students create graphic organizers and outlines as they brainstorm ideas, organize information, gather research, make visual associations and identify connections" (Inspiration, 2010). You are now free to edit the puzzle (e.g., include definitions, hints, etc.). The puzzle will automatically be imported into Word. Be sure to choose text file from the list of available options in the drop-down menu as this will enable you to successfully open the puzzle within Microsoft Word. Go to File > Open and a dialogue box will prompt you to locate the appropriate document. Simply launch Microsoft Word and open a new document. Once the puzzle is saved to your computer, you can open it in Microsoft Word.
